Update May 8th, 2008. We lost Phoenix today.
Our efforts to save him came too late. His condition was too severe and he died at the Shelter.
This is what happens when a house pet is turned into a barn cat.

They have no survival skills, they are used to food being handed to them and they don't know how to defend themselves.



We tried to save Phoenix. He was malnourished, matted and was attacked by the other true barn cats.
