I support Sue! She was strict during the screening process (I adopted two cats from her) but this was only due to the fact that she wanted the best homes possible for all of the cats. She knew ALL of their names, dispositions, etc. despite the large number of cats at both shelters. My sister also adopted from the EH Mall location, and we both received follow up calls checking on how the animals were adapting to their new homes. I sincerely believe Sue had the best of intentions and I wish her nothing but the best! God bless you Sue!

i just wanted to say thanks for all of your hard work .. it makes me sick that the erie county spca thinks they have the right to judge any agency working towards resolving the cause of assisting stray and homeless animals. Keep fighting the good fight and i will be speaking to all of my friends to assist with sizeable donations... goodluck and godbless!!!

I adopted Samson about six weeks ago from the WC SPCA at the Eastern Hills Mall. He is such an awesome kitty and is still adjusting to my four kitties I have at home. The facility eas exceptionally clean and the animals are very well taken care of. If you need to adopt a kitty, this is the place to go!!!

I volunteered at this SPCA from October 2011 to the beginning of January 2012. I'll come back again, but for right now, I am just looking for a job. I love the Wyoming County SPCA- I love that the shelter is a no-kill shelter, and I love that Sue takes care of all of the animals that we get in, and I love that the animals are allowed to roam. Like I said before, I will be back to volunteer.

Hi, a couple weeks ago I adopted a lovable cat with a crooked tail that went by the name "Orangey." He now goes by Gordy, and I just wanted to let you know he's doing great in his new home and is already best friends with my cat Buddy! Here are a few photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/obotek/sets/72157626652996580/ thanks!

We adopted Seabiscuit and Davey from the Eastern Hills site after going to a movie there in Dec, 2009.. Hadn't planned on adopting a cat. We just went into play with them. Half hour later we were signing adoption for Seabiscuit and when we went to pick him up Sue asked us if we would like Davey too. Luckily we had a carrier big enough for both of them. We were worried about Roxie, another cat we adopted years ago from the Tonawanda SPCA, but they all got along great and still do.

My husband and I adopted our cat Stella from the WCSPCA Eastern Hills Mall location this past February. it was a hard choice with so many cats there. She has grown so much and we love her dearly. Thank you WCSPCA for all that you do for these wonderful creatures who deserve homes.

We got our German shepard/husky dog from this shelter almost 15 years ago. We got to enjoy her up untill a few weeks ago. Ginger passed away due to cancer and other problems. She was a very energitc, and loving girl. All the other animals loved to play and cuttle with her. The last few years she was slowing down but still enjoyed her walks and played tug of war. The winters got to be harder on her. She was taken care of by the family and the other dog and cats. Just wanted to say thank you for letting us adopt this loving dog. We were honored to be able to have her for many years.
